I am pretty sure you will need:

Camber/Caster plates to correctly adjust the suspension.

Change top to a 4 bolt design.

Shocks are shorter. You will need to put something inside the tube to lift it to the correct height.

I am not sure if you will have to fiddle with anything to get the tie rods to work, but everything is about an inch longer than on an RX2, which means you will need to do something for fender clearance.

Do it right and get a camber kit as the strut tops bolt pattern is different from a first gen (3 vs 4bolts) or modify the strut insert to fit the RX-2 strut top.

Drilling holes to fit a 1st gen strut/top is not in my book and I consider that as mickey mouse job. But again, that is just me where functionality and appearance comes hand on hand.
