RX-3 Roll Call

Who has an RX3. Tell us the year model (2dr-4dr-wagon). A few sentences about where/how you got it and what’s been done to it. Post a picture or two.

Islandsnow, there use to be a few fiberglass places around NZ that sell these (or similar)... not sure if they still around? "Fiberglass auto replacements" in Gisborne use to stock them for $180. NZD. Not sure if they are still in business... You could keep an eye on www.trademe.co.nz - lots of RX3 stuff comes up from time to time.

I also have a set of Japanese racing ones - big enough to fit 10" wide wheels front and back!!!

dang, and I thought I had alot of Mazdas, guess not compared to some of you guys, heh:

my collection:

'71 R-100
'73 RX-2 coupe
'73 RX-3 coupe
'75 REPU
'83 GSL RX-7
'85 GS RX-7

although, I may be picking up a '73 RX-2 sedan and possibly 2 more RX-3s (a 73 coupe and 77SP)...still in the works, but potentially I may have 2-3 RX-3s here pretty soon.

Mike

since i wasn't able to find another rx3/808 to replace it, i ended up getting an '84 rx7 and put that engine in it. it sat at a friends house for quite some time. if i had somewhere else to keep it, i would have, and used it for parts if i ever found another one. i ended up selling it to a guy in Ga. he's on this board, i think his user name is vaughnc. he had posted an ad on thepartstrader.com needing a replacement trunk floor. the whole floor pan in mine was the best thing about the whole car. i still think i gave it away tho. hopefully one day i'll find another one.
