929 will only fit the FC booster as far as i know. and a few other non rotary Mazda cars.

no one heres runs without a booster on there old school? I should be picking up an Rx2 this sat. i'll be doing a 929 MC with no booster. i'll post pics and deatils on braking feel.

I will definitely know within the next few weeks, waiting for the 50% off at the junkyard sale. As far as the 929, the FC master cylinder flange is the same as FB so I have a feeling that it will work. I have use FB/FC/GLC on a RX-3 booster. although the RX-3 booster has 4 studs, not using the 2 studs on the sides with these MC is ok.

took the light blue RX-3 at turkey run last Saturday. No issues with the FB booster/pedal upgrade. Will now get some hawk brake pads.

I spent too much time designing the steering column brace then it hit me in the head that I should just make it simple. this morning I chopped the brace off the stock RX-3 brake pedal assembly. also, modified the FB pedals to keep it away from wheel well. I am now completely done with the light blue RX-3. Next is my black 73 RX-3.

my modified pedals using my brand new $80 mig welder from Harbor Freight. I havent weld in 20 years so excuse the ugly welds but it works very well. .

btw, there is a difference between the 81-83 and 84-85 pedals. the ones I chopped and welded came off from a 84 so the brake pedal is tweaked as shown below.

if you use the 81-83, minor tweaking on the pedals are required. pix of completed FB pedal conversion in my black RX-3. I used the RX-4 booster (4 studs) for now as I cant find a good FB booster at junkyard

GSL-SE booster/MC upgrade on my other RX-3 has been completed. now I can install the modified FB front suspension and brakes, convert the rear to disc brake and change all tie rod ends/ball joints at the same time.
