Hey guys, I have a 73 Rx2, when turning on the parking lights or all lights, then pressing on the brakes, does all 4 tail lights get brighter or just the end ones?? Thanx in advance

 

never owned on so i wouldn't know but crit might. i'll get him.

 

All four lights should light up with the brake pedal.

 

I've only watched my car move without me in it twice. I never thought to look. Interesting info.

 

I got my lights fixed, they work perfectly, all four light up bright when braking , and when using turn signal, pairs flash

 

yeah I got problems with my taillights on my rx3 too. The left blinker is not working, but the tail lights and turn signals light up!!! any idea?

 

how about the right turn signal, does it flash, or just comes on? if both right and left turn signals light up but does not flash, you may want to check or change the flasher

 

the right signal flashes but not the left? left comes on but doesn't flash? there's a bulb out on that side(front or rear).

 

or even maybe a bad ground on the left side

 

ok I looked into this more. The left side doesnt flash, they just stay on. All lights work. However, when I have the lights off, and I engage the emergency flashes, the far left tail light closer to the outside doesnt light up. This is really strange because all tail lights works when I turn the lights on. The pass. side works perfectly. FYI, the car have shaved side markers on all four corners, but if the right side works, I dont see why the left side wouldnt. No burned bulbs.

 

your problem going to be at the left rear tail light, most likely is going to be a ground, take the light off and clean all the holes where the tail light mounts, scrape the inside of the holes too to expose the metal, and bulb socket, and then replace the bulb. Try that first and see what happens.
