There was a 73 celica at SS5 with a 13-b bridgeport.

LOL the thread got screwed up. I made a post asking about swaps into TA22 Celicas, and the post just vanished but the thread was still there....

But anyways, anyone know anything about them? Are they hard to do?

Hey im doing that swap now but its a street ported twin turbo 12a into a 73 celica. We had to cut the front cross member out of the car and box it in and reconect it to clear the oil pan sump. Then we had to make a new trany cross member. Next for me to do is the drive shaft. It looks good in there tho. Cant wait to get it running ill send pics later!!

My bro had one of those old style celicas. I often thought about puting a rotary in it, when he had it.

Double clutching??? You must be running a cheap *** clutch and pressure plate. Don’t need double clutching - Im running 4-puck with 3500 lbs pressure plate plus I have a sidepex motor. I need to work on my suspension to keep it in a straight line.

You must be an old guy....

Wackyracer-

A Sidepex motor?!?!?! And you're proud of that? One look at this shop and you got to wonder what kind of product they put out. They got junk, trash, video games, and more junk all over. The only thing they don't have are people working. Get your money back when your motor fails.

You must be thinking of someone else. I know we haven't met. But if you and wackyracer want to line up I'd like to see a sidepex motor grenade.

Sure, we can arrange that. Make sure to go street port to streetport. Anything higher than that, we have to wait til I finish my bridge.
