saturday I pulled the carpet and found some rust/rott...... not bad, small spot on the passenger side about the size of a quarter and a fist sized hole on the driver side..... I'll just cut out the area and have my father tack in a new piece..... I'll post a pic of the holes later today, when I get off work....

should I just put sheet metal over the holes or should I replace the damaged parts of the pan...a guy at a body shop said it would be stronger to place a piece of sheet metal over the pan and set it with screws??? wouldn't this just be a temp fix? or would it last...
keep in mind I'm just using the truck as a daily driver....

nope....9 more days to sell...if not sold by june 10th It will get a new coat of metalic/sunburst yellow and new interior...
