REPU Center Cap ?

I need to install the center caps on my 77' REPU and don't quite understand how they mount to the rims. Looking at the back of the cap I don't see anyway to attach them. If somebody could help me out I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks,
JD

They are press fit, there should be a rubber that goes around the hub on the front and the rear has an adapter that screws on to the axle that commonly come up missing. I'll see if I can get some pic's of mine for you.

It's basically a big rubber band about an inch wide with I think it was a checker board pattern on it for a little extra grip.
