Just bought a front grille emblem for my Rx-4 off ebay from a company in Australia. I'll let you know what it's like when it gets here.

i have bought the grille emblem, fender emblems and the rear qurter emblems.they all mounted fairly easy on my rx2.only difference is the originals are plastic and the replica's are some type of aluminum or some sort of metal.

Depends on which badges, the source and when they were made. It used to be that they were made OK not great and they were painted instead of resin. Now it looks as though the quality has gone up and so has the accuracy. i don't mind that they are made of metal as it will hold up to time better and I am building my cars for the long haul not 2 years

well i guess because we have so few good ones here in the US we are used to an inferior product. Now having said that I would trust your judgement explicitly.

If you want a good quality badge, tell RE10(tony) what you want send him the money and let him get you a good one. I am sure that he would be willing to help you guys out becuase he does no what he is talking about when it comes to the rare and repo parts on the Rx3s.

Personal note(tony i know you have my email drop me a line sometime it has been awhile)

Two of my friends bought badges from him and they told me they were disappointed and that was being nice.

So I went over and took a look at them and I would have to agree...

The emblems have imperfections copied from the original part. The whole emblem is chromed, but the spots where the paint is applied bubbles and lifts off the emblem. We all know when you paint something that is shiny, the paint wont stick.

By the way the emblems are heavy...for those who care about keeping their car lite as possible

Phils Rotary's tends to be quite expensive for parts over here...but he does have a large amount of stock, so it's a bit of a trade off...I don't know about the quality of his stuff.

There is also this store:

https://rsp-secure.com/rarespares/de...0A&model=MAZDA

But they have limited Mazda stuff.

If you guys ever need help with postage with anything from eBay or wherever from within Australia, just give me a PM, i'm more than happy to help get it out to you if I can.

Cam...
