Radiator hot on one side only ??
The rad in my Rx-2 seems to warm up on one side only (the side of the hoses).
Is there a thermostat inside the radiator ?
I have only just installed the new Rx-7 12a and I had it running for about an hour in the driveway yesterday but the drivers side of the rad was still cold.
I could keep my hand on the fins in the rad everywhere but I could barely touch the oil cooler.
Another question: the original temp sensor in the Rx-2 is a one wire type while the one I have in the engine now is the two wire type (Rx-7).
How can I hook that up ?
Thanks !

I think the old rx's had what is called a crossflow radiator and they had some sort of baffle plate in the middle of the end tank to seperate the inlet/outlet.
It sounds like the plate has shifted in yours.I would take the radiator to a repair shop and have it checked out make sure they remove the tanks instead of just flow checking it. If the plate is missing or shifted it will flow straight through the tank but not the core which sounds like what its doing now.
BTW...don't drive the car or run it very long in your driveway it will overheat since the radiator isn't working to cool the engine.
