there's some stuff on the internet and ask around the 510 sites and there point you to differnt sites

Its a project. What series of motor are you thinking about putting into your 510 im just about to get started on my 510 rotary project. its anything but a bolt in swap. the way im going to mount it which is the same way that other people have done is to use a gsl-se front plate and and take a piece of angle iron and mount it to the stock engine subframe and mount the motor to the angle iron this puts the motor low and to the back which is going to require firewall modification and tranny tunnel modification(which also depends on the tranny you use)and price it all depends. once you start getting more info you will get a better idea on prices. its not a rare swap but it is differnt most of the 510 guys that want big power are going with sr20det's because there are parts and kits to do that swap that would be a eaiser way to make power without requiring as much cutting and custom work but its all up to you

orig cross member needs to be cut in each side, flip around and re-weld for oil pan clearance. u can also use the fb's engine cross member and weld it to the frame. OR make your engine mounts. also, for better brake, have to use the 280zx brake booster. theres lots of parts available for 510, unlike the old school RX.

or you can use a rx-3 oil pan with the original crossmember you might need to put two dents in the front of the pan depending if you use rubber on the mount but most dont because of how smooth the rotary is and makes it feel more solid.
