Talking Project: FI 74" repu

after many years of searching i found myself a 74 repu!!. iam installing a s5 n/a into it. any comments, suggestions and ideas would be great.

engine: s5 n/a with tII housings, big street port, Ported and exrude honed intake,
oil pan baffle, safc tuned and dynoed by rx7.com .

Congrats! Looks like its gonna be fun Thats like just the right amount of power for the repu. Any tranny changes? Is that intake available anywhere?

keeping the stock repu tranny for now. i will be installing a tII tranny when i get a light weight flywheel, the intake is from bonez

I can't tell if it's just the lighting in the pic of the painted engine bay or my monitor- did you stray away from the stock Olympia Blue? One of the other guys (I think Frank) on mazdarepu.com has an S5 engine in his truck as well... an Olympia Blue '74, if I remember correctly.

Looks nice! I love these trucks!

Im thinking about the same thing, TII Housings, Streetport, but my S5 motor will
be carbed with a Dell 48 for the old school look.

i dont know what the factory color its a greenish blue.
the engine bay is metallic green now still thinking about the final color it may be too dark.

ok so now the engine is in time to mount: T & L coils, ECU , SAFC and a bit of wiring and intsall a msd inline FI pump more pics to come!

ive mounted the ecu and the pass side harness, iam cleaning up the drivers side harness before it gets installed. looking for color coded diagram (s5 na)anyone?
iam missing the fuse block for part of the wirring so another trip to pick n pull if i cant find one on here.

Never seen a Dynamic Chamber like that, how did you do it? Looks sharp, along with the engine bay and choice of body color. Unfortunately, restoring my REPU is a ways off but looking at your's gives me hope for 'someday'.
