Just a quick question. Did you use spacers either side of your heim joints for your links? Or alternatively, have you got any better pics of the mounting points?

It also would be a good idea to strengthen the brackets for the links on the stock frame as circled in this pic. As you can see they are pretty thin and weak. I was going to do it but I wanted to dial the rearend in first. Those stock brackets will not handle very many 10k launches on slicks for very long.

Hey Jay, Thanks ! for the thread. Your car is Bad *** !! I just got my RX2 fired up that I bought from blackrotor last month. It's a bridgeport 12a, with RB road race header, wide open, can you say Deafening !! I'm interested in your exhaust setup. are your using road race header ? whats your tube length before the collector ? Are you running 1 or 2 presilencers ? After the collector what side tubing are you running to the 3" muffler ? Any pictures you could post would be great ! I love your video's. I just installed the RB Holley intake and 600 4 barrel, it came with the car, in the trunk. It went from stock Nikki carb, that would only run for 10 seconds like **** and stall to a screamer. I'm just waiting for the coolant seals and linkage plate from RB. Down the road I want to install the IDA, but for know i'm going to play with this setup. When I get it stable, I'll post a video of the open header. Thanks for sharing with all of us.

I am running the RB roadrace header and then 3" all the way back to a 3" RB high flow stainless muffler. No precilencer. It is pretty loud but runs pretty good. The RB header is not the best but it does pretty good. I could play withe the exhaust and probably get a few more ponies out of it, but I will wait until all the other things are dialed in first. You don't just want to run open headers as you will acutally lose horsepower. Alot of all motor drag guys will use about a 2-3+ foot section after the header and then megaphoning into one 3- 4"muffler. If you have a street car then I would suggest what I am running but put a RB precilencer in the middle. This will give good performance and it will still be loud but bearable. If you want all out performance and noise isn't an issue, then I would recommend a short megaphone system into a high flow muffler or even open. RB makes the megaphone pipe that bolts right up to their header. Good luck.
Regarding the rearend brackets, I have paper templates with all the specs if you want I can mail them to you.

Ok, ready to hit the track. Aiming for this thursday night at Irwindale again. Going for 7's so wish me luck. I installed my new line lock and the larger 24" tires and it looks much better. I will finally be able to do a decent burnout now and launch. Will have video of the runs so stay tunned. Heres a quick pick of the linelock install.

The last time I dynoed the car I made 197 to the wheels, but that was a long time ago and I have made huge improvements since then. Back then I was running 8.5 to 8.6 in the 8th with low 80 mph. Now my time is 7.83 at 87 mph. So I would say I'm making over 220+ to the wheels now. My dyno is the drag stip now.

I will keep checking this thread to get ideas of what to do to achieve that

Jay, what is the weight of the car with you in it ? On this calculator I found, 2300lb car and driver at 7.83 ET says 249.43 HP.
