Pix from our local club

Few pix from today's get together, organized by the master engine builder, Ben Alameda of Ben Alameda Racing. It rained this morning in LA so several forum members were unable to attend. I went on a last minute decision (more like bite a bullet) even with a bad wiper motor, had to stop several times and waited for rain to stop.

^^That is a Ford/Cosworth RS200

A beast of a car, and very rare.... somewhere around 200 total produced for FIA homologation into Group B rally racing

I was there in my money pit but the AM rain ruined it for other RX owners.

Is that a Ranchero I see? Love these trucks....

I've always thought them to be a great candidate for a 13BT swap. Compact, lightweight, and fun to drive.

I can't find one within 100 miles though ... not in my price range anyway.
