Greetings from the Barbados guys and gals. I have a problem deciding which engine to put into my starlet, i currently have a 2t, with mild mods, but i've gone through that learning experience and i now want something with more sting. Should I go to a 3t and turbocharge it or (i prefer to) get my hands on a 13b or 20b rotary. I don't want to disturbed the car's original shell too much, it is a front half and a back half welded together, and i want a project that's going to be fast as well as reliable. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!!

No offense, but why so much time and energy on a startlet?

Becuase it's one of the few available RWD cars which is also very small and lightweight. So you insert the powerful motor of your choice and it makes a good drag car. Same reason people might "waste time" on a rotary conversion RWD 323.

Makes sense to me... Then again I've never even seen a Starlet or RWD 323. Japanese cars usually last about 7-10 years max up here because of the salt used on the roads in the winter, and they never were very popular up here because most people trace their paychecks in one way or another to Chrysler, Ford, or GM (mostly GM and Ford) so there is strong "Buy American" sentiment. (I can't believe I still get spit on my truckers every now and then because of the Japanese car...)
