if your willing to spend the money on putting one in you better be willing to spend your money on gas. my 1.1Liter 12a get about 15 mpg. my 3.0 ford ranger get about 20. i heard somebody customs some 13b to get good hp and good milage. around 20. but they were around 2500-3000. a modded 13b will get you about 16 stock maybe 18 oh thats fuel injected by the way.

The 12a was rated at 105 bhp and usually gets around 20 mpg in an rx7. In a mini it would be even better because the mini is so small and light, plus its front wheel drive. The 13b was anywhere from 130 or so up to 160 and it gets about the same mpg. Iteresting project, start another thread when you get going so we can keep up on it.
