what are the odd ball rotary motors you have heard or know of?

any air cooled motors

norton motorcycles had a race bike version
suzuki had a bike in the 80's early 90's
nsu's of course
chevy made one
so have some other comapnies but cant remember who else

Ford made a prototype rotary mustang 2+2 in the 60's as well. Google it, they have some pics on the net.

theres the sachs rotory motor 1 rotor air cooled i belive it came on some snowmobiles

rotax made a bunch for snowmobiles cant believe i forgot those theyre used in f500/f1000 ssca cars

2 rotor and 4 rotor Aerovette (corvette)

snowmobiles

50cc go kart motor making 50 HP!

little radio controlled cars... the list goes on i heard much more but cant confirm. like weed eaters and lwan mowers. most companys experimented but shut down there projects when the oil crisis of the 70's hit.

Unmnanned arial vehicles like the predator? I just saw they use a 101hp 4 cylinder rotax 914 according to howstuffworks.com

rotax does not mean rotary. Rotax is an engine manufacturer that produces engines for BRP among other stuff.
