Ok, theoretically, would this work? V8 > Rotary Corolla

My corolla has a 12a rotor in it, and I will probably keep the rotor in it, because I love it. But. Theoretically, since my corolla has a 12a in it, could I use a V8 conversion kit from a 1st gen RX7 to mount a 350 in my corolla? Or is that just the dumbest idea ever, haha. Opinions, suggestions are welcome. I just want to see what you guys think as far as mounting V8's into imports. Most of you will think it is blasphemy (but come on, I have a mazda powered Toyota.) and I have no experience w/ V8 swaps into RX7's.

hell no do it that would be cool as hell I doubt thought the conversion kit from a 7 would work with your corolla.

The 350 swap doesn't pick up the stock RX-7 motor mounts, so even though you might have mounts in the right place to make it 'easy', you'll just have to cut 'em out. If you have room for it, give it a shot!!

I don't care for Supras. I'd rather put a 20B in a 1st gen.

Supras are way too heavy. Rotaries need to stay in lightweight cars.

SKarpenz: a V8 Corolla certainly would be something. Depends on what you want, I guess.
