Ok so you wanna stuff a rotary in a 510

So here it is just a bunch of pictures of a rotary 510 that I'm currently working on now. I'm "not" very good in explaining things so I'm "not" gonna a make this a how to thread. Feel free to put in your 2 cents at any time and suggestions is always welcome. That include's you Wacky

The second photo is how I originally plan on mounting the motor, but I've decided to make the mounts on the cross member instead. Tack weld for now until I pull the motor out ..have a look

I got busy this weekend and got the inter cooler and oil cooler mounted. Next is the transmission tunnel modification. Since the motor is pushed back I had to cut out a large portion of the tunnel. I'll post more pictures a I make progress. In the mean heres a few more pictures.

I learned to drive manual tranny on 510 many moons ago. I love those cars.

The first stick I ever drove was an REPU. The second was a 510.

I got the rotary powered 510 running today.

Not so, theres so much to do. The car is pretty much gutted out, the door's windows trunk are all out of the car. But I'm not gonna restore the interior so it makes it much easier to put it back together. I will also build a big brakes for it I got all the parts for front but not the rear. But will see... if I'm not too busy I can work on it each week end, it may make the summer cruise.

You do good work Rene that thing sound crazy. When are you gonna dyno Jerry's 3 rotor?? I dont have a deep pocket so I cant afford that kinda project. Plus this one I'm building from hand outs
