Well technically, no-one but Mazda has seen it. We've seen drawings and rumored concepts, but those can't be verified.

Does anyone have the links to these drawings and rumored concepts? I'd still like to take a look at them....

here ya go

hopefully the final version will be different. Mazda has said it will likely be rolling on a shortened version of the RX-8 platform with stiffer suspension and powered by a 1.3 liter 255HP renesis or the optional 1.3 liter 300+HP Mazdaspeed turbocharged rotar2 rotary.

3 rotor would not be as light and impare handling. I would prefer a turbocharged 2 rotor making 300+HP. 2 seat 2 door, about 2700 lbs.

Uhhhhhh it could be made just as light as the Fd. Pettit's Banzai 20b weighs less that 2800lbs. Also if the 20b was "designed" for a future version of the Rx7, Mazda wouldn't have a problem with handling because (unlike the Fd) the car would be designed for it.

Mazda would be nuts to use those designs. One of those looks like a old design crossing a 3rd gen with an RX-01.

Although these are drawings, they're the most realistic looking and also pretty damn nice IMO,
