Need Rx3/4 Bellhousing

Does anybody have a good bellhousing from an rx3/4 that will fit the adapter plate that goes to a mustang t5 tranny? i have a pport 13b and i keep breaking everything so it is time to really beef up the drive train. does anyone know what mods need to be done to the tranny for it to work? except for obvious stuff like trans mount and drive shaft? im trying to stay with the same clutch/ flywheel i have since i already invested over 700 in that already

Drop G force a line. They make several bellhousing adapters that make it where you can bolt just about any transmission behind an RX-3/TII bellhousing. The major problem you are going to have to deal with is the input shaft. The length and pilot diameter may have to be changed. I had to buy a input shaft to mount my trans to my REW. The clutch will probably have to be changed to accommodate the input shaft spline at a minimum. It would be a lot cheaper and easyer to just put a TII trans behind it. For what the input shaft and adapter cost you could buy a TII trans.

Smile Check Kennedy Engineering Web Site

I have a P-Port Motor also, I checked around for a lot of this stuff locally here in Socal. Talk to the folks at Kennedy Engineering they have what your looking for, and you can retain all your Mazda stuff. The only exception to this Adapter kit is you will have to take your Clutch to whoever you bought it from or Action Clutch in East L.A. to switch the Clutch splines from Mazda to Ford. Kennedy may even be able to modify your clutch also, but you'll have to ask them.

Here is the link to thier Web Site:

i would much rather go for the t5 trans because i dont think a TII trans will hold up as well as the t5 under hard launches

TurboII transmission can handle upwards of 400+rwhp. My friend has been running one on his bridgeport 12a with 150-175 shot of NOS with no promblems and the gearing with the TurboII transmission is much more suited for a rotary than that of the T5 transmission. The T5 gearing on a rotary is for **** as some have stated before and that's why you don't see too many people using them. I will personally go with a T5 transmission when I break all my TurboII transmissions but it is going to be built by Gforce Transmissions. http://www.gforcetransmissions.com/tran_gt-5.asp The owner of Gforce Transmissions has been working with the rotary community for a long time and knows what gearing will work for your individual application.
