If you somehow knew it was rotary, then it's from a Bongo 13B van. It was the only rotary not to have a tach. Probably a piston-powered Mazda, I'd think.

808? I know its not an rx3 cluster. so i guess that would leave it so a piston varient, rx2 or r100.

I can name that guage cluster! Its not from a car. Its from an early to mid 1970s Mazda B1600 pickup. It would also fit very nicely in a Ford Courier pickup of the same vintage. So what do I win!

There was some mention to R100 guages and I thought I would post some photos of the three type of R100 guages that were made. The first photo is that of the guage/dash that is familiar to everyone which is the super deluxe guages. Available on the best R100 sold in Japan and all the export cars. The second photo is that of the "deluxe" guages/dash that were available on the deluxe R100 for Japan only and all 1200 models including export cars. The third photo is that of the "Economy" R100 dash/guages sold only in Japan which is kind of my favorite. The Economy version has no carpet and only partial door panels and headliner. There were alot of painted interior metal surfaces where vinyl would usually be. I have seen all three types on both coupes and sedans.
