Cool

And that place might be the 88 in calif.? Think I will use galv duct material pur it and fill the back with expandable foam, and glass it both sides??? Pur the other holes and surface rust and use glass.. Long way to go. Should have had it done before this ,but a heart attack and open heart surgery slowed me down. Durn! Bob

Bob,
In addition to the brake pad clip, there are 2 small cotter pins that holds them pins in place. These are located between the outer caliper and the outer brake pad.

Bob, if you need parts for the rear drum brakes, let me know. I have 2 sets that came from my 73 and 75 RX-3's that I converted to rear disc. Rather put them to good use than take up space.

Hey Bob! Nice find!

You mentioned that its a '73 model but I would have to say that its a '74...

Here is a picture comparison of your front end to my '73 to see the difference...

BLWFLY: you posted:
i didn't know they sold the wagon here in the states..
I read this somewhere so I'm not real sure but as far as I know the place they were not sold / imported to was Australia. I'll check with the aussie boys on their forum to verify this...

Hello Mr. Bob

This info is from the Hollander Interchange Manual

Maybe you can use the Vin # to verify the year,

I hope this help,

Andres

'73 has the skinny bumpers and the center nose piece was fully framed. '74 and later had the top chopped off the center piece and a chrome band ran across the top edge of the nose.

Ha good one. I was gonna say the same about the bumper except that it looks like something the americans would have on their cars. The bumper doesnt look like anything I ahve seen before. Maybe its of something later like a series 3. We didnt get the series 3 RX3's in Australia. Or the SP.

The bumper is definitely not one that came to Australia. The car is probably a series 2, due to having a series 2 nosecone. I have a Series 2 RX3 with the same nosecone and its a late '74 but I'm sure the series 2 started in '73.
Tulsa Turbo your '73 must be a late series 1. The nosecone you have we refer to in Australia as the 10a, or series 1, nosecone whereas we call the series 2 nosecone, same as this wagon, the 12a nosecone.
