I've got an oil pan question that you might be able to help me with. I'm using a GSL-SE oil pan that I think I need to spin around in order to fit. It's got a thin sump (fore and aft) that should slip between the steering linkage and crossmember pretty easily. The car's in the body shop now with the linkage removed. Can you, or someone else, verify that I need to spin the pan around to put the sump in the rear and use a long pickup? Do you have a picture of your engine out of the car?

You will definetly need to turn the oil pan around. You will also need to extend the pickup, and/or change the angle so that it sits correctly in the pan.

If you would like, I can snap a pic of my oil pickup for you so you can see how I did it.

you have to flip the oil pan arround and drill out some holes ,my friends rx2 has a oil pan that is not drilled or flipped arroud .I do not know where it came from,it is a 13b gslse motor
