my 70 rotary bug project.

well i got the engine back in july for $400 then scooped the car for $500 in september. i got some donor metal and replaced the package area and the floor pieces. learned to weld on this project so it went a little slow but i got that done. i built a megasquirt to run the FI on the 13b but still working the kinks out on that. heres the photo album.

Back in the days. I know a guy with a 12A rotary in his VW Bug. Street Port, Weber IDA 48, Headers. It was sick. He shows off by doing wheelies on first gears. But it is super Load. To bad lost contact with him. Your should look great when you ever finish.

once u upgrade to my bus trans with 4:38 R&P i would hope i can pop the wheels up,

blwfly i borrowed a welder from a friend and with a little instruction i was welding in new sheet metal. thats the hard stuff welding thicker materiel like my radiator frame or the engine mount was simple.
