Why not just buy the 13B intake, its not like they don't exist. It would probably be more cost effective for you to buy one than spending hours making an adapter plate.

Thats another option. I guess if it would be doable to get the stock fuel injection going with a stock computer (still dont know if thats possible or not) I would prefer it, but getting the rb se intake does sound like a more reasonable option.

So that being said....If anyone has a gsl-se racing beat holley intake there willing to sell, I am currently in the market for one.

Of course its possible, it just takes an expert with a wiring diagram

So your saying its possible....haha

Now does that mean that its figuring out what wiring you need to connect the sensors, or does that mean doing the wiring bit AND doing mods to the circuit board?? Cause that is out of my league...

Thanks, I didn't even know what it was, I just thought it looked awesome. Kept walking by it for about a year telling everyone that car was going to be mine. Noticed the guy was moving out so I left a note on the door. About a week later he stopped by and was happy with $200 cause it meant he could afford two more loads to the dump ha!

It had no tranni but still had the engine, which I think was stock, but my dad started going through the scrap pile and evidently my rx2 engine was a little to close so it went to the crusher. I was a little irritated but what can you do.

Not really sure, but I would think that you'd look at the wiring diagram from the RX7 and look at the RX2 wiring diagram to see where you can wire the ECU in. Any experts here that can explain how to do this?

To make it run you need power to the ecu and coil. Its about 5 wires you have to tie in to tge engine harness/ecu.

Nice, so I just have to get a stock computer and figure out what pins (on the ecu) power what, and ignore the rest?

If you build the 13b 4 port out of both engines, just put a WTB ad up for a early 13b manifold, then adapt it for a Nikki...the manifold and the nikki together should not cost 1 third of what an aftermarket kit does today...simple and inexpensive

stock engine, engine harness, ecu.

12+ constant
12+ ign
ground
12+ switched to fuel pump
factory grounds

maybe a couple more but your body harness should handle your dash gauges and the rest of the car.

What about the AFM? Would I need to hook that up?

Ok I hear ya now... Guess I wasnt quite awake when I read your other post. So Looks like I need an ECU, an engine harness, an AFM, and whatever else isnt on my engine. I will put up a wtb ad.

Yeah good point. I have yet to tear into an engine so...I already have a carb, its not tuned for a rotary, edelbrock 1405 or 1406 I believe, so I would probably just trade my 12a RB intake for a 13b RB intake. Idk..

UPDATE! Just got off the phone with the guy I bought the engine from and he just got an SE in that hes parting out! So I can get the ECU for free since he cant verify its condition, sweet...but the wiring harness was cut by previous owner. He mentioned the body harness plugging into the ECU? Could I just skip that part and keep all the body wiring how it is?

BTW, Rotary Workz is the name of his shop, its down in Philomath OR. Its a bummer that its 2 hours away from me, great guy. I bought the engine and tranni, and while I was there he gave me a limited slip rear end, another tranni, two different driveshafts, all the FI stuff and probably a few things I forgot about. Like I said, good guy.
