Minimum backspacing? - Rx4 build

Going to be using S6 rotors with T2 turbo calipers with a custom wheel hub. Found wheels I want that are +1 offset. backspacing 4.5 inch.

Is this too little backspacing?

Think I answered my own question here but someone correct me if I’m wrong.

original rx4 wheels apparently were 13x5.5 with 20 offset

plugging this into backspace calculator that’s about a 4 inch backspace. I should be good then right ?

Am I missing something? The wheel hub would determine the back spacing. You should be able to adjust to various backspacing, depending on other clearance challenges. Comes down to design of the custom hub.

well I was assuming the new hub was the same spacing as stock but good point I guess I’ll have to measure
