Hey there im looking for any information on the 1974 rx4 coupe gtr model like what is the difference from regular rx4 and how many were produced

but I'm almost certain that these were mostly a dealer installed decal/appearance package. They did not come from the factory that way. I almost bought one that was sitting in front of someone's house back in the early eighties. Other than that, there were no differences between them and regular RX4. Hope that helps.

i was kinda wondering the same. i know the sides were a vinal stripe, but why would they vinal the entire hood? I hope some answers are uncovered here.

Yeah same here, no different than the other rx4 just vinyl sticker added on at the dealer. There was a thread several years ago about this, I'm sure if you dig around you'll find it.

I just quickly looked, and didnt seen anything so far, but i did find a couple pics




so far people seem to say its was the same car with stickers added on.
I have the chance to pick one up so i have some interest in finding out as well
