Mazda RX-9 in 2012?

What does everyone think?

http://magazine.windingroad.com/wind...2web/?folio=49

I wouldn't mind driving these around, they need a more speedy design!

Thoughts anyone?

I really hope they don't put rear seats, and what is this engine going to be called? 18B? or what? They should just stick the 20B in there, we'll all be happy

i see a lot of the infiniti G35/37 in that design. I'm not really a fan. the rear is too stubby.

At least there are no rear seats, and we actually have something to look forward to. The back is what annoys me yet I am digg'n the front.

I don't like it...
After having styled the 3rd gen, Mazda needs to really spend quality time designing a new 7 that will live up to it's previous 7.

Just my .02

True, but then again, this is not an RX-7.

i think if they lose the back window an give it a similar B-Pillar style that the 3 gens of 7s have and some pop up headlights an i think its make a decent base for a 4th gen. the larger more vertical b pillar with a hatch like the 3rd gen would make the back end look less oversized.

I haven't been impressed with anything Mazda has done as far as concepts go. Their new "Flow" theme is just plain UGLY.... The only one that has been passable is the Kabura. I think if they re-name it as an RX3 it would sell alot better than relabeling it a 7. But you know what they say about opionions...there just like ********.....everybodies got one.....
