As the title says, looking for a windshield for my 74 RX4 2-door coupe. I have called everywhere local and nothing. I even called safelight auto glass which is nation wide and they could NOT find it either. Any help would be great!

What about a rx4 wagon windshield? Would that fit on my coupe? Its the same year but a diffrenet part number. I found several of those. Any help would be great.

Sorry but no on the windshield of the wagon. It will not fit but if u can get your hands on some be good to sell them to make money to get yours. I'm sure a few guys mite be looking for their wagons.

 

Well I got good news and bad news.

Bad news- I called my source and they only had windshields for the RX3

Good news- I called another source and they have the windshield BUT its $525 plus shipping!

 

BTW- its FW296 for 74-78 RX4 4DR/Wagon and FW295 for 74-75 2DR coupe.

I was given the quote for the FW296

Yeah, I found the wagon windshield...its pricey but worth it if you need one...So no luck on the coupe? Maybe overseas??

I called a 3rd source and they said they think they have one for the coupe, and Im waiting on a phone call.

 

I have a glass winshield for a rx3 coupe. not broke but does have the air bubbles in it. I am think of going lexan so I may sell it or trade it.

Besides the diffrenet part #'s between the coupe and wagon, are the windshields really diffrenet? Why wont the wagon windshield fit the coupe, they look the same anyways...

 

very possible the height is off. Generally that is the difference between 2DR/4DR models.

 

Between the coupe and wagon, the windshields are different. The sedan and the wagon use the same.

I have a 74 2-door RX4 and a 76 2-door RX4.

The windshields are in the cars. They are the same size.
