Nah, I'm not a doctor. I think the guy I sold mine to is going to keep it, at least for awhile. It was yellow, what color was this one you guys picked up?

Wow it still happens! $100 bucks for an SP is an extrordianary deal. Thats what I paid for my nice SP 12 years ago. With no motor, tranny or exhaust. But great body.

After 5 years of getting it in the condition I always wanted it in. I sold it for 30x that to a collector in the N.E.

I miss that car everynow and then. I cant find a picture of it anywhere.

Bright Yellow 77
Louvers side and rear.
Rotary Engineering Wrap around rear spoiler molded in.
Street ported 12A
85' rotating group.
12 lb flywheel
Modified/hybrid Nikki w/plenium cut manifold.
e-ign.
e-fan
RB full long exhaust system f to r
80 RX7 5speed.
Big swaybars f/r
Koni f/r
RX7 GSL disc f/r
RX7 LSD 3.9
13x7 Silver Panasports w/Yoko's

I had fun beating up on the Fiero GT's, some 5.0's,CRXsi and early MR2's and about everything else from the late 80's and early 90's for that matter.
Sometimes I'd bite off more than it could deal with. Like my buddy who had the 396 in his Nova. That was painful. But he couldn't touch me on a curvy road.
I loved the 285 loop around Atlanta then. Every now and then I'd find a 2nd Gen to blow away.
When that thing was spooled up to about 5 grand it would pin you back in the seat all the way to 9000 RPM.

It also had working A/C, that went beltless in the winter. Of course..

Ahhhh.... those were the days.

If you are lokking for weels for your 1gen rx you can use rims from peugot 405.I bougt a nice set of 7+17 et18 and it looks very nice the bolt pathern is 4+108
I vas macining a ring tu get from 56,4mm to 50,85
Then the rim is in center and the diffrens of one millimeter is ok.

Well right now I've got an Autopower race roll bar listed on eBay but it will be difficult to ship something like that. Also have brand new front & rear sway bars for RX-2 which I'll probably list soon, these are hard to find from what I've heard. I've got a '71 hood and a primered trunk lid also. That's about it as far as 'extra' RX-2 stuff I have. There are a few more boxes in my closet but I need to sort through it.
