FL looking for advice on possible conversion

Hey guys,
Well it's official, I sold my gsl-se
So I was thinking of a project that I have long thought of.
Putting a rotary in a VW Bug,,, I know it's been done but I am not sure if it's been well documented. I have read a few post here of a few people doing a conversion. And I have searched the web, and found a little info on it.
So basically I am just doing research, on the project, what is involved, cost, time and labor.
If anyone has done it I would love to speak with you.
My email is Borinquen717@gmail.com
I have a quick question, What rotary should I use, should I stay with a 12a and keep it simple or go turbo2. I am not sure, and I would love your opions on the matter.
I know theres gonna be a lot more work for the turbo2,,,Would I basically need what I would need if I was turning my fb to t2, besides all the adaptions for the beetle, I am speaking engine only....
Just what to see what you guys think...
Let me know
Thanks ahead for all the help...
Cruz

all i know is that you need the counter balance off an automatic, or something like that. Good luck with the build

Ya I was thinking 12a, first try that out, work out the cooling issues if any, and such,
I fiqure if that works out I would consider doing a more complicted install...
I have done my research, and know about the counter weight off of an automatic rotary. About the Kennedy adapter, probably would upgrade the transaxle..
Well just in case anyone is interested I will post my future research and keep a journal with pics as I beginn...
If I decide to really go thru with this ...
Thanks guys
