Kyle L's mini fd project

Hi everyone over the past 2 years I've been wrenching on my 90 Miata. Recently I bought a 87 rx7 n/a for it's motor. Now I'm working on building up this engine to swap into the Miata. Figured I would need a build thread over here and lurk the site for some information.

Pics of the Miata

They are Rs active type 2 low Profile lights, very rare I searched for them for nearly 3 years to give my car the "rx7" look

Rotary Miata = WIN. Going to use the 7's tranny with the tail assembly from the Miata or use the bellhousing from the 7 on the Miata tranny?

Subscribed.

I'm in the middle of my 13BREW swap into my miata as well.

I thought the miata tranny was a little bit stronger then the fc n/a one, or you must go for the T2 tranny.

Actually the n/a FC and Miata tranny are about the same. Big differences is when you get into the T2 and FD trannies.

the N/A trans has an integrated bell housing(one piece casing). It doesn't come separately off the trans, like the TII bell housing does.

Thats a pretty nice looking MX5, do you have any other plans to make it more FD like? Maybe a coupe kit?
