Anyone using a Rotary Works Aluminum rad?

Looking at their aluminum rad for the RX2. It seems like a good price for a 4 pass rad.

Anyone using one now? Does it fit well?

Need to upgrade my stock rad, overheated my 13B half bridge last time I had it running.

RW aluminum radiator is good choice as it is similar to stocker and since rad will sit below the radiator support, that will give you lots of space between the motor and radiator, it means, lots of choices for E-fan. I shopped around for a few weeks and decided not to buy the RX-4/SA/FB style radiator due to space issue. Not installed yet as Rene @ RMS made a slight adjustment to the side mounts per my request. I'm using a junkyard special fiero fan on mine.

Dave,
You must love to run your oil very hot...no fan on your oil cooler. LA summer and stop & go traffic is a killer

^the scirrocco dual fans not big enough to cover them.the oil cooler is angled a bit so it can clear the front valance, but we are going to install some mini fans on it.stop and go traffic lol wacky we go full throttle around it lol.

Wacky I know the rx3 style radiator does sit and goes in below the radiaotor support but the rx2 mounts a little differently too.here's an example of the RW rx3 style on miles rx3.I always angle the oil coolers so I won't have to cut up the front valance and it also won't look ugly from the front of the car sticking past below the valance.I forgot to mention that the oil coolers are from rotary works also.

Here's my newly installed RW aluminum radiator with fiero fan with approx 2M CFM of air at a junkyard price of $15. Covers the entire radiator and oil cooler. I have good experience with fiero fans and it doesnt eat too much amps at start-up like the larger ford taurus fan, approx 1.5" clearance between the main engine pulley and the fan motor. I just need to get new hoses now as this is an upgrade from a RX-2 stock radiator

Just an observation, drove my RX-3 to WHIV in vegas this past weekend. Coming back to Socal, my temp never passed 205* despite it was over 90* around noon. My speedo was out but i was constantly above 6k rpm as i was flying through uphill say after CA/NV stateline. Not bad for the price but it could be better. My mechanical temp gauge is mounted behind water pump housing so it read outlet temp. Rate maybe 7 out of 10
