I came across a Ford ranger with a bad engine. it got me thinking, what ford trans does the 13b-t/13b-re bolt to?

another thought it I have a Chevy malibu (1998) with a bad engine, wonder if a 13b bolt in?

so wanting a rx7 again!

unlesss the tranny in the ranger has a removeable bellhousing, u'll have to use the tranny of whatever engine u use. then there's the fabrication aspect to get everything mounted into the chassis. so unless u can do it urself, it's going to get into some big bucks. as for the malibu, isn't it fwd? that's even more big buck fabing. then there's the issue of wiring. just how much r u capable of doing urself?

yes, I have a full shop to do the work and people to do the work I can't and a local Jyard I can pull stuff from for free.

the malibu is fwd, I dout I ever fix it.

as for the ranger, there the same as mazda b2200 for the most part. I know the c4/c5 do but the tk4/tk5 fm145/146 or m5od I don't know.

as for wireing, easy for me.
thanks.
