Just want to show you my exhaust for my transversal 12A
It's been some years ago when i started to make a complete new exhaust system for my matra 12a. Now it is 99% finished!
Made from stainless 2inch tube, wall thickness 2mm. Primairy tube lenght: 24 inch. Both tubes are excactly the same lenght. Found these recommended specs on the racing beat website. Mild steel flange. Welding was done with additional welding gas on the inside, to get smooth welds on the inside aswell.
And 2 borla 2" mufflers in line. Hope it will not be too loud.
The complete exhaust system will be stiff fixed to the engine. Didn't had room to make a flexible joint. The mufflers will be suspended by springs, to carry the weight. Hope this will work.
