Not going to spoil it, but with the sheer amount of both 1650cc and 2000cc injectors running at once, it's no wonder it's fuel mileage is about 0.01 (no joke, I calculated that) mpg.
Now THAT car is why I love the rotary

A 6 second slip with a full tube frame chassis PP 20B with a bunch of one the kind custom make parts and 2 big *** turbos dont impress me at all,not bad or breath taking just good, now a bunch of 6 second passes in one day with a semi periferal port cosmo 13B running a factory modified 13b RE intake manifold combo putting down a little over 1300hp on the dyno running 200mph that is what i call impressive.Again not saying that is not good for the RX2 but if a humble built 13b can go faster something is not right with a motor that has 50% more capacity, just my opinion.

And your opinion is welcome. Let's not forget though that it is still very much a Frankenstein setup and there are tons of limiting factors, such as budget, that the faster guys don't have to deal with. And it's only tube framed in the front, the rest is just a modified street chassis.

Eh, I still find it impressive. Lets not forget the thread with the 20B in the FB that made 1000whp and everyone was impressed with that, so I am very impressed with 1300whp out of this one. Could it be tuned more? yea probably, running meth probably helps a lot. Unfortunately there isn't enough info on the engine itself for us to come to any conclusions of why or why not it is producing the power it does. A dyno graph would be nice too.

thanks for the comments but it is built by me brent,Curran brothers racing (CBR),not kiwire! and was built in my little tin shed,I have designed, built and tuned the entire setup with no outside assitance,I dont have a chassis guy, tuner guy, clutch guy,fab guy etc etc I dont own a dyno and we have very little budget,we use a set of spark plugs for the season!
I gotta agree that from the outside its not that impressive to run a 6 with this setup, but sure think it is considering the budget,Ive only ever run a 20b for 2 race seasons which we only have around 10-12 meets a season, thinking about it Ive only done now 3 seasons with a big tyre car,no mega dollar chassis, has a mcloud clutch, roller coaster track! Id like to see the rest of the world run on our track.
fact is it can make more hp and it will but we gota take our time as we cant afford to break parts, theres alot of big dollar guys that have been trying to run the consistant and reliable numbers that we run and mine was only ever built to be my hotrodhence why theres no parts in the engine bay the same as the others with 20b and 13bs,I wont go to the turbo shop and buy what eveyone else has got,or the intake manifold shop, fab shop then take it to the dyno shop, then get someone else to drive it,**** that, thats boring
How many rotary engine builders have run a 6?
brent

I always get a little giddy when Speedhunters features a rotary and yours has been a really cool little article. If there is one that I really want to see, its the yellow and purple (forget builder and car ) mazda with the 20B that runs in the 6-sec bracket at 200+ mph

The car looks good and the engine looks bad. As far as the e.t goes I agree with Joeylyrech. I have seen numerous 13bs run 6's so I don't get too impressed when I see a 20b barely running 6's. But when you consider the guy pretty much built this thing out of his back yard it gives you a different perspective
