just bought a repu

i just bought a repu this guy from my town he was the second owner and i have been hounding him for over three years for it..went there the other day and he fianlly sold it to me the truck was sitting for the last 4 years due to the oil seals going bad. so non-running bought it for 1,500.00.. its pretty clean will post pics soon..

Let me guess... Is it color green with some surface rust? If so, I saw it on C L awhile back ago. It looked complete with a straight body.

yeah its green with little rust.. i think he listed it for 2000.00 got many calls but no one showed.. so now its mine.. iam trying to get it running as we speak even though it will be rebuilt shortly.

so my repu is not getting fuel nor spark.. the jets in the carb must be clogged because the fuel pump is working. correct? my coils arent getting power as well iam going to try and trace it tomorrow

check the fuel filters first. there is a lot of trash in the tanks of these old repus and it doesn't take much to clog them up and limit fuel flow.
