After almost exactly 3 years of building on the Beetle ,I finally got it to start on Saturday.

Congrats on your success. I'm going to test fire mine today. It's been almost exactly two years for me. We like to take our time.

Got it fired up and driving. There are a few issues. The oil in the pan was getting up to 220°F so I'm a little concerned. It started raining so I had to call it quits for the day. Progress, though.
