makeing the intake

a flair is need to get a radess on the inside of the intake , a pipe is used that has the same dia as the inside of the main plemtum which is 2 1/2 in , later this will be used as a guide for welding the runners to the plemtum, the flair is hammered out useing a little heat, and deslaged , a lot of deslaging is done

I really like what you're doing. Custom fab kicks ***. Where'd you learn this stuff anyways? Also, what's your welding setup? When you do the radius' did you have some sort of a machined radius that you pounded the metal down on or did you just heat the bottom of the tubing and then just hammer away until it looked the right shape?

"Born with a PC in my hand" lol
Hardly, I'm 46 years old so I remember B&W TV too.
I've only even HAD a computer for about two years, I was one of those people who resisted computers until I finally realized their value. Anyway, here's how you do it:
Start a thread in the TEST AREA 51 and upload all your pics on that thread like you did on this one. Then when you post a thread on another board, go back to the attachments on the TEST AREA and right-click on the link. Select properties and click on it. A little window will open and you want to highlight the URL and then right-click again and select "copy" The location of the picture is now stored on your clipboard. Go back to your post and type after.
Repeat as necessary. It will go faster if you open another window and then just go back and forth between windows. It's really easier than I make it sound as I'm no computer whiz by any stretch of the imagination. Please don't send me pics, I'm on a 56K modem.

Nice handiwork, by the way.

I've got to ask... where did you get the injection componants from? Is it K-jet off a BMW or VW or something or is that a Mazda thing? Sounds like an awesome intake system.

Dear Gradedcheese I went to You Pull It and got three complete set ups pump, acumulater, cold start nozzle, fuel reg, fuel dist, timer, lines and nozzles, and I spent about $100 for each complet set up.A few modes where made that's a later story. One thing for sore we all know how hard a normale 12 or 13 carb and some time a injected system can be to is, I can "just" turn the key, even afther all winter,it starts rite up.

You can practice highlighting the text on this page.
Just hold the left button down and move the mouse around. You'll see how it works. I like to start at the end of the text or URL I'm trying to highlight, and go backwards, but I suppose that's just a preference thing.
Once it's highlighted, just right-click and a little window will open. You want to select COPY and left-click on it.
The text you highlighted is now stored on your computer's clipboard and can be pasted into your post.

ah, ok. that's a good choice, simple mechanical system that works real well. I want to try building something like you did (dual k-jet) for a four cylinder BMW motor some day.

Nice work!
Hey can you tell me a bit about the little die grinder you have they. It looks light and like it really gives you allot of freedon to work with. It looks like you attach your drill to it. So, how fast does it spill? Could you attach something like a RotoZip power or a router to drive it faster? Do you thik it would handle that many RPM?
