hey guys i am new here and i just want some info on what to do on my new 1973 rx3... stock 12a has been overheated then leaked oil after that so i know i need a new motor i have all the convertion parts like pedals and master cyl..so i just want to ask which is better to do..

1, keep it all original with a stock 12a automatic and keep the car as a original but no pwer
or
2, get a gslse 6 port stock with headers and 48ida, convert my car to a manual trans?

any info on where to get a cheap 13b 6port with no overhaul needed???/

I would say keep it stock, that is one very stock looking Rx3 you have there. But really it's up to you, all we can do is give you ideas and what we think, witch can help you decide. If you were going to do a full rebuild on the car, then I would say go with the #2.

But that doesn’t mean you can't do a ported 12a

Got any more photos of the Rx3?

Amen!!! much better than my yellow (filled with bondo) RX-3. I wonder how much weight I would save without them!!

I think I've seen that car. hey Toy!!! do you know Ben from Downey? He owns an RX-3 with a p-port and his son drives a blue RX-2 with bridgeport? Both cars are daily drivers.

He was cited by the city and no longer allowed to build motors. But he did several in his kitchen during business hours. He got laid off at that time. But now, he is back to work but he is only home on weekend.
