SK Im back with my 73, rx3 wagon build

The first pic is of the old fool that is responsible for all this nonsense

This little car i brought home getting 5 or 6 years ago from Pincher creek alberta . same as my rotary powered bike build from a few years back I will build or repair if possible and only purchase parts new that wear out or just cant be sourced any more. the front left bumper and fender were squashed in almost to the inner wheel well. the interior is in pretty nice condition except the left floor pans and carpets . The carpets had enought pieces left to be able to make some good patterns so we made them with a nice light automotive carpet by the foot and made my own including a finished edge . will put some kind of sound and heat barrier under carpet . If anyone is needing set of floor carpets for the wagons we could make them for you . Just pm me . we finally have the body close to doing the body filler after a bit more dolly work on the fender we will go ahead with that . all new brake components except fot the master cylinder that we will just clean and hone a very little bit . need a right hand radio **** to get the dash components back to original look. .the little car has the alcohol cold start which all seemed to work . The fuel tank is full of very large chunks rust and dirt almost looks like it had a health bit of dirt poured into it so will either build a new one which wont be to bad considering that I dont intend to carry spare tire underneath so a even rectangle tank is very possible with the original mounting brackets attached. want to change to a nice 4x100 set of chrome wheels . the paint will be as original as possible without doing the under hood . led tail ,reverse and side lights . I will post more pics soon as I have gained a bit since we took these ones. anyone with some ideas or just to chat please feel free to post . once again i would like to thank everyone that helped me out with my bike build . hope everyone has a healthy year . thanks for checking things out . Gerald

I reopened your thread. I'm not sure why it was closed. If another mod wants this thread closed, shoot me a pm as to why you feel it should be locked. Otherwise, this is a pretty killer build thus far!

My good friend CHRIS FISHER owner of VINTAGE METAL in Broderick SK. did all the paint work ,,
so I have the floor carpets made but only have the piece that goes over the shifter hump finished on the edge and it looks like it belongs there so am going to do the rest today hopefully , still need some kind of insulator and sound proofer for under the carpet . I know there are many products on the market but would like a couple opinions on what others have used and weather they like or not .
