It's true, at the show they said that the wing was only for the movie and didn't come on the production 8's. i know they have different wheels and front grill also.

Did anyone else want to steel that giant picture of the inside of the renesis motor hanging on the wall?

I have a 13 month old daughter. Can't wait to strap her in the back seat and take her for a test drive.

I thought the RX8 was debuting next week in Detroit???

check this faint picture out of a silver one:

Hi Pinkin,

If you haven't seen the press release yet:

MAZDA UNVEILS 2004 RX-8 SPORTS CAR AT NAIAS
Mazda North American Operations (MNAO) today announced its RX-8 sports car, equipped with a four-speed automatic transmission, will be priced from $25,180 when it goes on sale in June. Base MSRP of the 2004 RX-8 with six-speed manual transmission is $26,680. A fully loaded RX-8 with either transmission and every available option, including leather seats, Bose(R) audio, 18-inch tires, moonroof and fog lamps will run approximately $30,000. (PRNewsFoto)[HD]
DETROIT, MI USA 01/07/2003

You can check out the actual packages, options, colors etc at

http://www2.mazdausa.com/MusaWeb/rx8/index.jsp

Do not waste your money on a deposit on ebay. Find a dealer that will sell for MSRP. If you want to, check out www.rx8forum.com for a lot more info.
