this weekend was the auto show out here in so.cal and of course i went for only one thing. The all new KIA. then i went to see the RX8 They had the X Man model on display there. Did you know its going to be the featured car in the new Movie due out this May? Then they Mazda guy said its being sold mid summer. im going to post the pics as soon as i get them back from the photo guy!Youll trip out when see them. stay tuned

Mmmmmmmm very nice. Trim and wing look a little funky but it still looks like it has some potential. I just hope if they make a new RX7 it will be shaped in a less trendy style. Oh wait, I don't have $40k lying around, nevermind.

Well since i havent been around here very long, I hate to be a downer this soon, but well, that cars kinda ugly. The wing could use a change, and the front end setup is kinda funky. Paint the front brown and it would look like E.T. smiling at you. Other than that, the body beautiful.

I like it with the exception of that rear wing also. I guess I get to touch it this saturday also.... lol

Thank god they didn't forsake the 7 designation with that monstrosity! It makes me think of what ford would do if they brought back the edsel like they did the thunder chicken. ewwwww

I have to agree and say that the RX-8 is hideous... it looks like the bastard child of a Prowler and a PT Cruiser.

But hey, to each their own.

 

I think it looks pretty good for the most part. I actually think the altezza style lights fit the car pretty good, even better than an actual Altezza. Usually I dont like them. The rims look gay, but they are the "x-men" logo, so they fit. I like the silver exhaust inserts, not sure about the front grill inserts. The wing is weak.

 

I hope the aftermarket is able to produce a front bumper that makes the car look decent. I'm kinda disappointed that the next RX looks completely unappealing. I'm now caught in bittersweet feelings towards the whole package. The rotary engine vs. nasty ugly body. However the idea of the 4 seater entices me, especially with suicide doors in the rear.

 

I like the 30 series rubber, its the **** in the middle of it that has to go.

 

those clear tail lights dont even look bad.. its eclipse's civic's and accord's that give the clear tail lights a bad name... i think the IS 300's clear tails look great

 

I think that they should just slap the designing team that thought that thing would actually look good. Even more amazing I thought i'd be the only negative response to the car, seems a lot of people are into hideous these days.

 

That's the X-Men version. Stock is much cleaner.

wheels are kinda cool but i like 4 spokes, color is nice, wing is ugly
Other than that I like it.

 

It leaves room for the aftermarket wings & springs guys.

 

the Mazada guy said that wing and other stuff on it are only for the x man movie. the customer will get a cleaner version of it. even though some say its ugly, its still part of the family. kinda like the ugly step brother/sister we all have. we still have to invite it to cook outs and ****.
