So I'm walking back to my car and there is a flyer on it, something about Pimp my Ride. The first line says "Is your car a bucket?" I look around like what the F, my RX-4 Wagon is not a bucket!! it's 31 years old but holding up quite well. I look around at the other cars and mine is the only one deamed as a bucket. The next day I went in for a video interview with MTV and in 10 weeks we will see if they are going to hook it up or not.

Does anyone know if they do engine work on rotaries?

I bet $100 they will make it look gay as hell. They will jack it up and put some 22's on it with a chamelon paint and some light up dice. Then they will probably ask you to put a honda engine in it. After that they will encourage you to put tv's in it where no one will be able to see them. They will use the most expensive parts they can but will not touch the engine cause that might be considered work. In the end your wagon will look like a hooptie chevy nomad, with early 60's round cadillac taillights. That will be sure to scare off any honies that you were wanting to sniff panties from. So just do it and e-bay it off afterwards to get some cheese and get yourself a ride you can pimp to your liking, just keep it a rotary. Good luck.

this one time they replaced a motor from a civic CRX, they swap the original carbed motor for a Stock replacement carbed motor. they are a bunch a **** over there. BUT dont get me wrong i would be more than happy to give them a first or second gen rx7. BUt for my RX2 I would make a huge list of rules that they would need to follow. Lates matt22

For the price of the wheel's they'd put on it, you could probably by another wagon. I'd do it, unless the car has some centimental value and don't want them trashing the car.

I didn't think it was worth over $5000 She had alot of people over at the aircooled.net pissed at her cause she was so rude. Plus she said she wanted to sell it for a new honda(which didn't help). Have them do it and sell the wheels and get the other car like the other guy said. . Tell them to put the tv's where you can use them. Tell them to put DOWN the candy paint (its starting to get real gay). Tell them yes to the digital gauges. Tell them NO to the cheesy swap meet ***** speakers just thrown in the door panels like it was a redneck camaro. Tell them YES to the 25 inch wheels and make sure they don't upgrade your brakes like they normally do. Tell them YES to the $10,000 in audio gear that actually only cost them $2000 at most(what mtv dosen't know wont hurt em). Like I said before good luck and let us know how it goes either way.

its worth it just for the stereo stuff, theres a 50/50 shot itll turn out in a good set of colors, maybe itll look classy, maybe itll look like someone wasted their money,

you can always repaint/re-upholster

and it leaves u every penny to put under the engine without worrying bout stereo stuff

They can't rebuild your motor...but what they can do is call Mazdatrix, or RB and buy a crate motor and drop it in. Who knows they might even have one of those two shops do the engine install for them. I say go for it. You get to pick how, you want the end product to be. I say go for it.

Ask a friend or family member to sign you up on 'Overhaulin' and pretend you don't know. Overhaulin is the only one of those shows that I think would do decent work and would get the right guys to work the rotary.

they don't let you sell your car after they pimp it out. it states that in the contract you will pretty much be forever the sole owner of the pimped ride, unless you loose a leg or die.

the guy w/ the pimped out 240sx wanted 2 get rid of his trailer queen, but couldn't because of what else? the contract. he's even in debt w/ all the taxes from all the blinged out stuff he has in the car. paint job, DVD players, games, rims, etc.

Get it pimped and sell everything off. There is always a loophole in a contract. If not total out the car once you have sold everything. All I have to say is EBAY! How the hell can you void a contract if it was stolen and burned. But make sure you have everything insured before you do so.

OK IF you do want them to do it, think about this. I looked up online about getting a car on Overhaulin' the catch is that YOU have to pay the taxes on the parts and labor that is performed. That could end up being a big waste of money if you don't like it.
