How do you adjust Idle on 88 13BRE

How do you adjust Idle on 88 13BRE

Just bought an FC and I have never messed with Fuel Injection just Carb Rotaries.Does anyone know how to Adjust the Idle?

There should be a screw on the firewall side of the TB.

its the throtle body (where your accelerator cable is connected to if you didn't know sorry) On the firewall sise of it you will find the screw. After you have wound in the screw a bit you might have to retension the accel cable as it will gain more slack and affect the pedal in the car (it did on my TurboII)

hmm i always adjusted mine right on top of the motor. there is a small screw there. assumeing its an NA? but you will also want to disconnect the battery all the way and hold the brake for 3 intervals of 30 seconds to kinda reset the ECU then adjust from there. I did that once a month and my car ran great. what year and model did you buy? want to get a back seat for it?????? I got one. Lates matt22

What's up Matt?? Na, Back seat ruins the value of an RX7.I had an 85 w/ a backseat and all I kept hearing was "Man if it only didn't have that damn rear seat!" Thank's Though!

I was told to never touch the a/f screw just to adjust the t/b screw for idle, turned out my idleing issues were telling me my motor was about to blow lol
