im doing a resto project on a 1975 mazda rx3 and i want to know how to safely remove the windshield and rear window trim without destroying it?

 

Just get a trim removal tool if you want to do it the right way. It pushes the little metal clip off the trim rail. The clip basically pinches the molding up against the body. You can do it wiath a screw driver too, but a little more tricky to get the trim off without bending it.
