I have two third members (pumpkins) that I believe go to an RX-3. How can I tell what gearing they are and what they came from? One is brand new but I can't read the part number sticker.

stock wise, RX-3 came with 3.7s. 3.90 for all 1st gen except for GSL-SE which came with the weak *** 4.10. to find out the gear ratio, count the number of teeth in the ring and divide it by the number of teeth in the pinion shaft.

laymans terms its a ratio of input turns verse the output turns

if the pumkin is still in the housing, you can count the number of rotation in (drive shaft flange) verse the rotation out(axle flange) it isnt perfect... but you will know if it rotates more then 4 times or less then four times
