You need a GSL-SE front cover, GSL-SE oil pan and notch the front engine mount. Thats the easy part.

The hardest part is sorting out the wires. Be sure to solder the wires IF you need to shorten them. This job is very time consuming and requires lots of cold heine's and patience. So I highly recommend that you get a wiring diagram from FSM.

Check out Steve84gs's posts. He has one of the best S6 TII swaps in a 1st gen, 300 hp and meets Cali emissions. He has posted what's needed for the wiring changes, the NAs aren't much different than the TIIs.

You will need the wiring diagrams for both years, the link to the online FSMs and wiring diagrams is in my sig line.

If you can't find the SE front cover, oil pan and engine mount used, Racing Beat sells them new. The S4 engines are an easier swap than the S5s due to the electronic MOP used in the S5s. Have fun with your project.

I just noticed a typo in my last post. Steve has an S5 swap, not an S6.
