HELP !!! 1967 Cosmos

I thought this forum would be as good of place as any.I have a 1967 Mazda Cosmos 110s that has been in my garage for the last 20 plus years. The car was purchased from the Curtis Wright Company who were the original owners. The car ran approximately 2 years ago. From what I understand the car was one of only six to be imported into the USA in 1967.The car is white,RHD & has only 9500km.I am interested in selling but I have no idea of value.Any opinions ? Please feel free to email me at cmwnumber1@aol.com.Any advise would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again..Joe

If you would sell it to me i would say its not worth much
depending on shape it could be worth lots 5000 to 8000.
best bet to get top dollar is ebay.

Matt,How did you come up with such a ridiculously low ball fiqure like that ? This is possibly the rarest Rotary powered car in the World with only 9500 original km.

I'd offer you $6000, but it will probably go for more on eBay.

i am am going from the provided info.
"
The car ran approximately 2 years ago
"
I am assuming it's not running at that price.
a nice clean cosmo in good running order would be worth more.
If i was low balling you it would be much less

The car runs perfect. As I mentioned the engine has been overhauled by a Mazda Trained Technician. The car drives, shifts & stops as new.I will take some pictures tomorrow & post them for your review & reconsideration. There was a Cosmos advertised in Hemmings approximately 3 months ago.The owner was asking 45k.I don't know if it was sold or not.My car has been in many reference books.Additionally the car was originally owned & still titled in Curtis Wrights name.

I am sure you could advertise it for as much as the Hemmings one,
and i am sure it would sell as fast as the one that was advertised in Hemmings approximately 3 months ago,
and 6 months ago
and a year ago before that.
Its not how much you ask for that determines its value
its how much someone will pay for it.

5k to 8k is ridiculous. 30k to 35k is more like it. these're classics and rare even in japan

Thank you FD Dave for the words of encouragement !! I too believe that the car is worth what someone is willing to pay for it.It is funny when some one offers 6000.00 for a car without even seeing a picture or knowing the heritage of a rare car such as mine.I plan on selling the car for a fair price. It is truly a remarkable car with awesome pedigree.I believe your estimate of value to be "in the ball park" of what the car will sell for.But then again you never know....Thers alway's EBAY !!!

holy ****, how cool is that! if i had an extra 35k around, damn, i would LOVE to own a 110s, that is the ultimate rotary car. I fell in love at sevenstock with the 110 they had there. I want pics of the engine bay! That is freakin awesome, why would you sell such a collectors item?

edit: does it still have the original 10a?

Its COSMO god damn it!
Not cosmos, or cocmos, like you stated above!

But i agree with the numbers above, if the car is in great shape, than it will be worth a lot of dollars! Why dont you try advertising it worldwide? There are plenty of collectors that wouldent mind a car like that.

I saw a 62 Cosmo Sport for sale in pristine condition for 45k. I personally wouldn't let it go for under 42k. You've got virtually no miles on that car. It's pretty much brand new. I wouldn't be surprised if someone paid $60k + for it.
