Good spares and upgrades on ebay - y'all have a look

I was looking for RX-2 parts, but there are a lot of good spares up right now. GSL-SE front cover, electric dizzy, oil pan (for anyone that wants to put a front-mounted 13B in a car, it's a must) and other stuff. Y'all check it out.

GSL-SE was the only front-mounted 13B with a rear sump oil pan, so it's the only one that'll fit with 12A crossmembers. In the old days, people would redrill a RX-4 or REPU oil pan and spin it 180, or cut the flange off and reattach it the other way. The GSL-SE is the pan to have. If anyone's interested, ask the guy if he has the oil pickup as well, as you'd need it too.

I would need to instll the tranny in the car beofer its drivable. but maybe that would be a good investment. liek you once said crit GSL-SE make good parts cars. Is there any other information as to what other parts are usable from them? do those 13bs work well with a carb? i would leave it as is for now but eventually swap it into a rx2 and carby it.

Well, it's a 6 port engine. They have less potential than a 4 port. Maybe you could rebuild it with 12A side plates if you go carb?

Actually, there's one way to do it without too much trouble. I used to have a Dellorto DHLA carb that had the same upper manifold footprint as a GSL-SE. The carb came with a 4-port lower, but it would also bolt onto a GSL-SE lower so you could keep the 6-port setup. Racing Beat sells the carb manifold if you want to do that, but I'd go 4-port personally and stick to bits and pieces that work. The Dellorto mani is RB part no. 18100 for $130.

The -SE would has a 6-port lower manifold originally. You'd need to buy a RB Upper manifold for Dellorto and run either a Dellorto DHLA or Weber DCOE.

but the real question is should i go with the 6port motor or wait and get a 4port NA motor. I dont really have any experience with the turrbo motors, So i think i would rather go Na for now. Although watching The godzilla Defense Force RX2 in action Turbo would be great.
